My Wife Is Too Sweet

My Wife Is Too Sweet

image

I woke up this morning after my wife had left for work and found this in the bathroom. This is so awesome and completely sweet of her to do.

My wife is not into sports at all. She doesn’t get the competitive nature of guys. So this completely surprised me. I still have no idea where were going to watch the game. But I’m so appreciative that she’s doing this, I could careless if we’re watching it at home. As long as were watching it together.

Technology and Hardware: Some Sentimental Reflections

It’s funny how I still remember getting my first Game Boy. It was the original one, 8-bit in a lovely yellow colour, feeling heavy and smooth in your hand. My mum had bought it off my older cousin for about £10, and I remember feeling so surprised that she’d got me it for Christmas. I had a few games which were these wonderful plastic cartridges that you slotted into the back of your Game Boy, and you could hear the satisfying click when they were inserted properly. There was the sweet little noise it made as you switched it on, the Nintendo logo fizzling onto the screen, the red ‘on’ light glowing in the corner. The shimmering pixels and the chip tunes of game music.

I guess every generation grows up with some form of technological hardware that seems always exciting and new. Whether it’s a radio, gramophone or mobile…

People Leave Obama’s Speech. Real Talk

People Leave Obama’s Speech. Real Talk

Lmao… This President… This fucking president. Shaking my head so damn hard at Obama and hid staff trying to spin this event in their favor.

It’s clear that the public in general isn’t happy with President Obama. Tell me why if people weren’t able to get a seat left the event leaving empty chairs behind? I thought it was too packed to get a seat? Also if I was a fan of the President I wouldn’t be leaving, I’d be taking any chance I could to watch him. How cool is that to be that cost top the President and heart him speak in person.

Just stop it. Pepper left because they, like myself, could careless what the President had to say. It’s not like he’s going to follow through with anything.

The Niners Dismantled

The Niners Dismantled

Well damn… that was embarrassing. The San Francisco 49ers just got destroyed out they’re on the field. There was a lot of missed opportunity and failure to execute practiced plays. But bravo for playing hard.

If you don’t follow football that’s fine. I’m too busy myself to keep up with all the updates and injury reports. Here’s your update… The 49ers are hurting. Plain and simple, they have too many starters out to play competitively. I think every center in the game is out. They had to move an offensive linemen that doesn’t normally play center into that position. They also have a few of the top rated defensive players sitting on the sideline.

It’s going to be a rough road ahead. If you’re a Niner fan don’t fret so much. These players will return shortly and the Niners will sneak up on opponents and finish off this season strong. #NinerNation

Do You Have A Favorite Beer?

Do You Have A Favorite Beer?

What is your favorite beer and why?

I love Yuengling. Yep, not some fancy local brew. I can’t help that I haven’t found a local brew that has me craving more. I like Yuengling particularly for its smoothness. The flavor is strong enough to enjoy by itself, but not Smith enough that it pairs well with most meals. It’s not pricey. And tastes best in cans or on draft of course. Also I’ve discovered that Yuengling is best served after leaving it setting on the counter for about 5 minutes. After looking it up, Yuengling is recommended to be served at 7°C while your fridge is usual sub 2°C.

Share with me what you like. I’m looking to try something new.

The Underdogs

The Underdogs

I’m so excited for the San Francisco Giants. They are the clear underdogs in this match up against the St Louis Cardinals. Yet they come in to St Louis and shut them down. Very exciting start to this series… If you’re a Giants fan. Which of course I am! I also have this tradition of wearing my lucky Giants hat during the entire post season. So far it looks to be working great. Or maybe it’s that the Giants pitchers are just pitching a good game. Either way, it’s only 1 game, they have a huge battle left to be fought. Let’s go Giants! Game 2 tonight.
