Social Directory Is Here To Help You Make Money

Social Directory Is Here To Help You Make Money

I’ve been interested in making money online for quite some time. There are many avenues to make this a reality. Unfortunately none of them are as easy as some people make it out to be. You need to hustle, you need to understand marketing.

You just need to have effective marketing tactics and a good understanding of SEO. Many people create websites to share their affiliate products. Then use social media to share this information. Twitter is a great place for this. One that I don’t think enough people use is Facebook. Like Twitter you can purchase ads to be displayed on Facebook timelines. There is, however as new tool that might be able to help you out immensely.

Introducing a New Facebook app that allows you to showcase your (affiliate) products on your fan page and attract more customers, getting you more sales. You should definitely check this out. It’s called The Social Directory. Click the link and see if this is something that might be able to assist you in your quest for success.

I hope you guys found this information valuable.

Facebook: ‘Get The Facts’ About Messenger App | News & Opinion |

Facebook: ‘Get The Facts’ About Messenger App | News & Opinion |

A couple weeks ago I saw all the hype going on over the need for everyone to uninstall the Facebook messenger app. Why? Because of the requested permissions. So I decided to read and check out these permissions. First thing I did was uninstall the app immediately.

My concern was over how much power I was handing over to Facebook. Then I realized that I too had been persuaded that Facebook was evil in trying to force us into having to use the Facebook messenger app. Check out this article here: It explains what my follow up thoughts were.

Basically, the Facebook messenger app is just like every other app you download onto your phone. In order for it to be able to function it needs permission to access certain parts of your phone. This is how Android works. This is why I’ve reinstalled the app. Just like you should if you like to chat with your friends. It’s actually a decent app. Might even have to write up a review on all the things it can do.

Google+ promotion criticism | BGR

I love these kind of posts. I thrive off of conversations like they are having over at You should read the article before reading on. But I’ll summarize for your convenience. Brad basically says that he’s tired of having Google+ shoved down his throat. He goes on to talk about how Google+ is a crappy and inferior social network to Facebook. So this guy obviously isn’t a fan of Google+.

Right now this dude, Brad is going against the grain. I would equate him to Miley Cyrus in attention seeking ability. He’s getting that website a decent amount of traffic as the topic is a pretty heated one at the moment. Normally I would say, it’s all a matter of opinion and we all have our preferences. This time I’m just going to flat out say that Brad is wrong. I’m also going to go on to say that currently Google is inferior to… Well, no one. With the click of a button they could wipe out from any search terms destroying the traffic. That’s power. (off topic, sorry)

So many times I read about bloggers, techies, Google fanboys, and many others comparing Google+ to Facebook or Twitter. That’s a hard thing to compare. Twitter can’t compete with the features of Google+,  because it’s not the same. Twitter is great at what it does. But it is not Google+. Facebook, as a whole has a mass audience and is in my opinion only still relevant because of the games that tie into it. It’s gone from a college student social network to a social gaming network for all ages. Over half my stream is riddled with game related posts. I honestly can’t tell you why I even have Facebook. I barely use it and when I do its just to double post what I’m posting on Google+.

Google+ is much more than a social network. It’s Google’s way of tying all of its services together in one. Google+ is your one stop shop for your entire social presence. So many articles being written that you have to use a Google+ profile to do anything now whether to review a restaurant or use YouTube. That’s just not the case at all. Do you need a Google+ profile tied to your account? Yes. Does it have to be your name or have any information about you? No. It doesn’t have to be public or have pictures. You flat out don’t have to use it.

I’m not here to write about why Google+ is better than Facebook. There’s too many people out there that know way more about those details then I do. But Google is good at what it does. A few years ago I could not have imagined the things Google has accomplished. They basically took everything I did on my PC and put it on my phone. They went one step further though, what ever it is I’m doing on my PC it’s transfered right to my phone or to anyone else I choose it to go to. It’s seamless and like people say of Apple products, it just works. Now I don’t agree with everything Google does, they’re in a big transition and there’s going to be hiccups.

Call me a fan Boy if you like. I’m not 100% sold on Google. I’ve contemplated many times getting my own hosted email and looking for alternative services to Google. Again Google has great services at a price you just can’t beat. Everyone complaining about free services STFU.

There, that’s my opinion on the subject. Come at me bro! Lol

Facebook Just Got One Step Closer to Releasing Auto-Play Video Ads

Check out this article. Looks like Facebook is planning to stay having video advertisements that auto play as you scroll through your stream. Once this happens I won’t be using Facebook anymore from my mobile which means I’ll be checking my Facebook maybe once a month or so. This feature while it will make them money will cause user like myself who are on a data cap to use even more data for Facebook.

If you want my suggestion on a solution to this problem come check out Google+. It’s an amazing community. Takes a little to get used to, but there’s so much you can do with Google+. And they won’t be meeting with your privacy. Well they won’t be messing with your project when it comes to people. The NSA and other government agencies, well that is a whole different story

Where Is The Interaction I Crave

Something is definitely wrong here. I’m an avid user of Twitter and Google+. I have a Facebook, but it’s friends and family only. I’m constantly reading about how Google+ is so engaging. I read about how Google+ offer such rich content. While this may be true for some it isn’t for me.

I enjoy Google+ and I recommend it for all users, not just businesses. However, my posts here rarely get shared, +1, or commented on. Besides just a couple users my posts are very quiet. Seldomly engaged with. Now those same posts over on twitter are “Favorited,” reTweeted, and replied to. Conversations are easy to follow there as it shows the replied tweets.

I think Twitter is much more powerful then I see it gets credit for. For those jumping all in on Google+ do not forget the validity of Twitter and Facebook. Just like investing don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

I wonder if the engagement on Google+ will ever increase for me. I must be doing something wrong. I’m getting tired of talking to myself on there.
